I have a cushion with this on and as a long-ago Latin student it's been driving me crazy. Even with my very rusty skills I didn't think it made sense; this is because it's been cobbled together from the following from Horace's Ars Poetica:

    CHURCH AND CHRISTIANS
I've been wanting to say this for the longest time. WHAT HAPPENED? if you have't noticed, the TURE meanings of Christians and Church have been altered in a HUGE way.
    CHRISTIANS:
The bible only uses Christians only a few time. Why is that so? ! ? Becasue Christianity was NOT concidered a religion. They called people Christians becasue they believed and followed the Lord Jesus. And even still, they rarly used the word Christians to describe themselves. So then why is it that WE go around calling ourselves Christians without a second thought? Have you ever thought of what "Christian" may have meant when Jesus was around? I would like to think that you guys have because I sure have. Why is it that Jesus doesn't use the word Christian or Chrsitanity often? I'll tell you why! It's becasue the word "Christian" was ONLY used to describe those who believed in him. It was not a religion or a cult, It was a group of people who followed Jesus Christ. So then why is it that the meaning has evolved? That I do not know but just a warning. So called Christians have done some bad things and meaning of that word has evolved. When people ask me if I have a religion, I say no. But what I do have is my faith in God and my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Chapter 15 - Attacked by Tartars
The company was very great, and, as near as I can remember, made between three and four hundred horses, and upwards of one hundred and twenty men, very well armed and provided for all events; for as the Eastern caravans are subject to be attacked by the Arabs, so are these by the Tartars. The company consisted of people of several nations, but there were above sixty of them merchants or inhabitants of Moscow, though of them some were Livonians; and to our particular satisfaction, five of them were Scots, who appeared also to be men of great experience in business, and of very good substance. When we had travelled one day's journey, the guides, who were five in number, called all the passengers, except the servants, to a great council, as they called it. At this council every one deposited a certain quantity of money to a common stock, for the necessary expense of buying forage on the way, where it was not otherwise to be had, and for satisfying the guides, getting horses, and the like. Here, too, they constituted the journey, as they call it, viz. they named captains and officers to draw us all up, and give the word of command, in case of an attack, and give every one their turn of command; nor was this forming us into order any more than what we afterwards found needful on the way.

Classic Literature E-text Writer: Jonathan Swift Dates: 1667-1745
In a Letter to the Most Honourable Robert Earl of Oxford and Mortimer, Lord High Treasurer of Great Britain, Printed from Benjamin Tooke, at the Middle Temple Gate, Fleetstreet, 1712
    by Jonathan Swift
Introduction My Lord, What I had the Honour of mentioning to Your Lordship some time ago in Conversation, was not a new Thought, just then started by Accident or Occasion, but the Result of long Reflection; and I have been confirmed in my Sentiments by the Opinion of some very judicious Persons, with whom I consulted. They all agreed, That noting would be of greater Use towards the Improvement of Knowledge and Politeness, than some effectual Method for Correcting, Enlarging, and Ascertaining our Language; and they think it a Work very possible to be compassed, under the Protection of a Prince, the Countenance and Encouragement of a Ministry, and the Care of Proper Persons chosen for such an Undertaking. I was glad to find Your Lordship's Answer in so different a Style, from what hath been commonly made use of on the like Occasions, for some Years past

    Stage fright-airbrush madness
Submitted by Travis on 6/4/99. Well guys I`ve been working on a 22 and 1/2 bass for the last 5 days.
I don`t know how many hours I got in this critter but it`s a bunch...
by far my best bass ever...course I`ve only done 10 bass..he he he. The deal is
we have our Kansas show comming up in 3 weeks and I really want to
make this bass shine...all shrinkage has been rebuilt, dorsal fin was totally
rebuilt, tounge has a hour of work into it alone, all scales that
The part that every newbie fears-screwing the whole thing up with a ugly
paint job....he he he... Up till now I`ve always new my paint scheme was a little
on the dark side...I really want to lighten things up...Customers
have been happy with the paint jobs in the past but I know I can do better. Here are the steps I`ve done in the past: Light black on any repair work.
Light black spraying from the rear forward down to the laterial line. Med green behind the black on a frontal spray pattern...off white on the belly, chrome pear on the belly. Very light shot of yellow going down to the belly and the side of the fish.
