We, the members of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church,
in order to carry out God's mission and move forward together into the next century, profess our life together in Christ and our desire to set forth a united strategy for the work of His church. We express our desire to continue to be a Presbyterian and Reformed church, committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to the Bible as the Word of God. Rooted in and shaped by a living tradition, we are part of the new creation in Christ which God is bringing into existence. Therefore, we are committed to:
  • The worship of the Triune God. The Holy Scriptures as the basis for our faith and activity. Unity with other believers in Christ. Total Stewardship of life - time, talents, and money - including tithing through the local church. Excellence in education and equipping leaders for tomorrow.

Spring has sprung!
By Laurin Smith Dear Friends, It is so nice to finally have some warm days. And the blooming trees and flowers are so beautiful. It is God's way of reminding us that though we face a dark, cold and dismal winter in our lives, He always comes through with a "renewal" that shows us his love and caring. Let us always have the faith to believe that no matter how dark the winter, God will always show us a spring if we keep our faith in Him strong. It won't be long before Easter is here, and of course Easter is the time when we celebrate the light of the risen Christ that followed the darkness of Calvary and the darkness of all the time before He came to be our Savior. Again, it is a movement from the dark winter (of sin) to the lightness (of salvation). We hope each of you has a joyous spring and a joyous Easter! Yours in Christ, Larry Smith © 2002 Acworth Presbyterian Church, 4561 Church St. P.O. Drawer H, Acworth, Georgia 30101

Home Youth Ministry Presbyterian Youth Connection (PYC) "Your Youth Ministry Network" As youth and adults, we respond to God's call through the Holy Spirit to be connected to each other, the church, and the world so that our lives proclaim with joy that Jesus Christ is Lord! Identity belonging , and leadership opportunities were the three key needs that emerged from a study of young people in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). In response to those needs, the 205th General Assembly (1993) approved the creation of a new national youth ministry organization, named the Presbyterian Youth Connection. The Presbyterian Youth Connection seeks to do just that connect young people to each other, the whole church, and the whole world through faith in Jesus Christ. Presbyterian Youth Connection is built on the five intentions of the Presbyterian Youth Ministry:
    • To call young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
