Writers Alert Challenge Publications The following posting appears on the nwu.org website A writer is owed $1925.00 for several articles he wrote for various magazines published by Challenge Publications. Challenge`s CEO Edwin Schnepf refuses to discuss the arrears with either the writer or the nwu. A similar problem arose with Schnepf several years ago involving another nwu member. End Quote. Challenge Publications produces Air Classics and Warbirds International. A word of advice for budding writers 1. Never send original photographs to any publisher ( they may not be returned.) 2. Negotiate a written agreement in advance of publication. Most professional publications state terms and conditions before accepting material for publication.
