Visual Arts Search Search the Archives Back to Home Entertainment Friday, Apr 11, 2003 Dining Posted on Fri, Jan. 31, 2003 Blue Goose flies the coop to Grapevine By Bud Kennedy Star-Telegram Staff Writer The Blue Goose Cantina is a Greenville Avenue landmark for Dallas margarita drinkers. So can a Blue Goose migrate from Greenville to Grapevine? Yes. Sort of. The new Goose has flown the coop from the rest. Instead of a Tex-Mex cantina, it's now a grilled- and fried-seafood restaurant, Blue Goose Fish Co. The operative Blue Goose margarita menu remains the same: seven styles, including strawberry, mango and prickly pear. Otherwise, the new Goose is a different bird. The highlights include oysters and grilled salmon, scallops and fresh fish, along with fried seafood and Cajun po-boys. If you just can't live without those Blue Goose chicken enchiladas, they're on a short menu of Tex-Mex dishes along with fajitas.
