How To Send Me Information on... New Scholarships New Contests New Links Employment ... Advertising What's New on FreSch! Thursday, April 10, 2003 The next batch of updates to the scholarship database will be uploaded 10/15/02. There are 5,383 organizations offering over 486,354 scholarship awards online today! No Registration Required! The Scholarship Power Search is now back online, with a new search form and a new database. The Scholarship Power Search is still in BETA - that means there are still a few quirks (also known as "issues" or "bugs") but they should be fixed over the next few weeks. The Scholarship Browse is still OFFLINE right now, I have been sick with the flu a LOT over the last two months and will do my best to get it back online as soon as I can. The winner for the "Let's Get Creative!" scholarship still has not been picked. We've been delayed even more because of the death of one judge and illness of two other judges. Basically, everything that COULD go wrong HAS gone wrong this year! My apologies about the delay but there is nothing that can be done about it. Please remember that the judges are volunteers. I will contact by mail and phone - and also post here - the winners as they are determined as quickly as possible. Please don't email me whining about this - I won't respond

    Graduate Scholarships - The Benefits
Graduate scholarships are a great way for people to continue their education. Graduate scholarships offer individuals a way to fund their education and therefore are of great use. A major reason why individuals don’t continue their education beyond undergraduate is money. Graduate scholarships give those who wish to further their knowledge the opportunity to do so. A major benefit of graduate scholarships is that they don’t need to be paid back like a loan. They are gifts to individuals that deserve them. They also help people to further the education and offer people the ability to work better in their career.
    Graduate Scholarships - Types
There are different types of graduate scholarships . They range in different amounts as well. Some graduate scholarships are offered on merit and employers give some to employees. Many companies offer graduate scholarships to help employees continue their education. These scholarships sometimes completely cover the cost of schooling. Other types of graduate scholarships from employers cover only part of the total expenses. Either way, having these options to pay to further your education is greatly appreciated.
