pkg. (6 oz.) stuffing mix
1 c. chopped cooked turkey
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese 4 beaten eggs 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk 1/8 tsp. pepper Press leftover stuffing or mix into 9 inch pie plate or quiche dish to form crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Combine meat and cheese. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk and pepper, sprinkle meat and cheese on baked crust. Pour egg milk mixture on top layer. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in 350 degree oven, until center is set. Let stand for 10 minutes. Garnish with tomato wedges. Serves 6. Free Holiday Greeting Cards, Ecards and Holiday Recipes

    Title: Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup 3 1/2 lb Broiler-fryer; cut up,

    2 md Carrot; peeled and chopped
    1/2 c Onion; chopped
    2 Celery stalk; chopped
    2 1/2 ts Salt (or less)
    2 ts Dried parsley flakes
    3/4 ts Dried marjoram leaves
    1/2 ts Dried basil leaves 1/4 ts Poultry seasoning 1/4 ts Pepper 1 Bay leaf 2 qt ;Water 2 1/2 c Medium egg noodles; uncooked Place first 4 ingredients in 3 1/2-quart slow cooker in order listed. Combine salt and next 6 ingredients; sprinkle over vegetables. Add 6 cups water; cover and cook on low setting 8 to 10 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaf; add remaining 2 cups water. Stir in noodles and cook, covered, on high setting 20 minutes. Meanwhile remove bones from chicken and cut chicken into bite-size pieces. Add to slow cooker, stir to mix. Cook 15 minutes on high setting, covered or until noodles are tender. Leeks are full of hard to get at sand and dirt, chop them first, then give them a bath in cold water and drain in a colander.

    From: cxk28@po.CWRU.Edu (Charlene Keane) BROCCOLI-CHEESE SOUP ==================== Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds fresh broccoli 1 pint half-and-half (that's half milk, half cream for the non-US people, or substitute to your liking) 2 cups water 1 pound pasteurized process cheese spread (like Velveeta) 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup cornstarch (cornflour) mixed with 1 cup cold water Instructions: - Steam broccoli until tender (can cook in microwave on high power, 6 minutes per pound). Place half-and-half and water in the top of a double boiler. Add cheese (cut in pieces), salt and pepper. Heat until all the cheese is melted. Add broccoli. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Stir into the cheese mixture in the double boiler, and heat over simmering water until soup thickens. Melt butter; add onions and peppers and cook gently until soft. (The veg should not be starting to brown at all). Add the stock and bring to the boil. Add tomato puree and salt and pepper to taste, and simmer for a while, until the consistency is to your liking. Let the soup cool a little, then puree some of the soup using a liquidizer (liquidizers don't like hot soups) and then pour the pureed soup back into the pan with the rest and reheat to serve. Add a salad and a slice of bread and I'm happy. This is usually enough for myself. It's very easy to multiply it for more people. The proportions I use are usually 1 part potato to one part other vegetable. You can raise the proportion of vegetable to potato; the potato merely adds creaminess and mellows the flavor.     Incredibly Smooth Potato Soup - Grand Prize Winner
    Viviane Wadel Morehead City, N.C. 6 large white potatoes 1 large sweet potato 1 stick butter 1 tablespoon dill 4 to 6 cups milk Peel white potatoes and sweet potato. Cut into small pieces and cook until very soft. Add butter and dill and blend until there are absolutely no lumps. Slowly add milk (amount depending on whether you like your soup thick or thin), continuing to blend until velvety consistency is obtained. Add salt and pepper to taste. (You may leave out butter and use can of Swanson's chicken broth.) Soup may also be served cold.

    Most of the following recipes require a quart jar, large or small mouth opening. I find though a large mouth works easier to get the ingredients in. Besides a quart jar with lids, you will need a large rubber band. A piece of material 8x8 square. Ribbon to decorate. After filling the jars, place the material on the lid and put the rubber band around it to secure it in place. Tie with decorative ribbon and tie the recipe card to the ribbon for the directions on how to bake the ingredients. If you have a printer, print out the tag onto a colorful piece of paper or onto adhesive paper. Also when using coco, wipe inside of jar before adding another ingredient to keep jar looking nice. Have fun and give the filled jar to a friend!

    Pressure Cooking Recipes VEGETABLES Fresh Vegetable Melange
    - This vegetable dish is great served hot or cold.
    1 onion, chopped in large pieces
    1/2 cup canola oil
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1/4 cup parsley, diced in small pieces
    1/4 cup fresh dill, diced in small pieces
    1 cup chicken broth
    3 large tomatoes, cut in small chunks,
    seeds removed
    2 zucchini, cut in large chunks
    8 new potatoes, skinned, cut in1/2" slices
    2 large carrots, cut in 1/2" slices 1 green pepper, seeds removed, cut in 1/4" slices 3 stalks celery cut in 1/4" slices 10oz. Frozen peas, thawed salt and pepper to taste Directions: Saute onion in hot oil in your pressure cooker for 2 minutes. Stir in garlic, parsley and dill and cook for 1 minute. Stir in broth, vegetables and salt and pepper. Close lid and bring to high pressure. Lower heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes. Release the pressure, remove the lid and stir vegetables. Drain any excess liquid.
