Original Author Unknown Need: Orange and yellow Paint, Small Spatulas, Paper, Pie Tin, and a Fork. Directions: Mix Orange and/or yellow paint. Pour in a large pie tin. Place one or two (small) spatulas on top of each color of paint. The children walk the spatulas across the paper to make prints. Talk about how the spatulas make a shape like the duck's webbed feet. To Do again, use forks to make chick's feet. Over 300 exhibitors on the grounds of the MSU Union, FREE Admission.
The University Activities Board annually sponsors two major regional arts and crafts shows at the MSU Union. The Holiday Arts and Crafts Show is held the first weekend in December. The Spring Arts and Crafts Show is held the third weekend in May in conjunction with the East Lansing Art Fair. Please call the UAB Office at (517) 355-3354 for more information. Both shows are free for the public to attend.
The Holiday Arts and Crafts Show is one of the state's largest indoor holiday shows with over 200 exhibitors. This Saturday/Sunday show is held throughout the four floors of the MSU Union building with attendance figures regularly exceeding 40,000. Please call the UAB Office for current booth fees.
The Spring Arts and Crafts Show is held outside on the east lawn of the MSU Union. This show is also held on Saturday and Sunday with over 300 exhibitors displaying items in a park-like setting on the MSU campus.

The majority of the programs presented by the University Activities Board are free of charge and open to MSU students with a valid MSU ID and one guest with ID. We program events in multiple venues on campus including the MSU Union, International Center, Wells Hall, Erickson Hall Kiva, Anthony Hall Auditorium and more!

Come learn how to make a unique craft item and take your project home with you Noontimes The following is a sampling of other annual programs produced by UAB: U-Fest Super Saturday Night Part two of UAB's Fall Welcome events, Super Saturday Night offers students a variety of entertainment options at the International Center/Campus Center Complex. Live music by Rudderhead Lounge, Domestic Problems and Hyperbole. This year's Activities will also include Velcro Wall, Bungee Run and Laser Tag, Wax Hands, Olde Tyme Photos and a craft activity. Dice N' Ice This event features great entertainment in an exciting venue the Munn Ice Arena! Students can try their hand at our casino style games, or strap on the skates for an evening of great music and icy fun.

ELIGIBILITY: ELIGIBILITY: Crafts Center classes and workshops are open to UCSD students, staff, faculty and all interested members of the community. Classes run for nine weeks except when noted in course descriptions. April 7, 2003 - June 9, 2003.
REGISTRATION:
PREFERRED REGISTRATION WEEK: Monday - Friday, March 31 - April 4, 10am - 5pm and Saturday, April 5, 10am - 2pm at the Crafts Center/Grove Gallery. You may register after this date if space is available. Be advised that classes are not prorated. You may register by mail or fax using the form enclosed. Our fax number is (858)534-8881. Make checks payable to "University of California Regents" or call (858)534-2021 and use your Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card. All fees are due and payable at registration.     Don't you just love spring? Butterflies, flowers and playing outside. What could be better. The only sad thing is that the first flower to bloom in my garden every year is usually a dandelion!
