Friends: Here are outstanding web sites rich with information about the September 11 terrorist attack, the US War on Terrorism, and, especially, domestic and foreign articles, editorials and opinions about US foreign policy in light of that attack. I bring together here sites which provoke thought about US foreign policy what it is and what it should be. And I place opposing views side by side Arab News of Saudi Arabia vs. Arutz Sheva Israel National News, David Horowitz vs. Noam Chomsky ... (There is great benefit in listening carefully to those who oppose you.) Also, I have added some outstanding sites about the Palestinian - Israeli struggle because that conflict is extremely important in Arab views about US foreign policy. Note that many of these sites have a special web page devoted to the terrorist attack and its aftermath. Also, notice that many magazine and newspaper sites have a search box you can use to search their archives for past editorials and articles. May we heal and grow.

    1) Congressional Research Service (CRS) reports
(Congress) CRS uses taxpayer dollars to produce reports on public policy issues ranging from foreign affairs to agriculture to health care. All of the reports are posted online, but access is available only to congressional offices through an intranet system. Citizens can order paper copies of the reports through their Member of Congress, but only by mail. Moreover, the general public cannot search through past reports, and a comprehensive index of the reports is not available online. (Some Members have posted some CRS reports online.) In the CDT/OMB survey, the CRS reports were the category of documents most frequently listed sought after by researchers, students, librarians, government employees, and citizens alike. Supreme Court Web site (including opinions and briefs) (Judiciary) The Supreme Court of Mongolia has its own official Web site, but the U.S. Supreme Court doesn't. Instead, the Court refers people to one or more of 10 different unofficial Web sites, which publish various subsets of opinions, updated with varying frequency. While Court officials have said that they are exploring the possibility of creating a Web site, there is no official source of information from the highest court in the land. In addition to opinions, the Court should post briefs, at least in cases accepted for oral argument.

This is an initiative by ATF in its continuing effort to combat violent crime in cooperation with other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. In the past, ATF has successfully utilized other mediums to advertise wanted persons, and now, with the advent of the Internet, ATF is seizing the opportunity to employ Internet subscribers in this endeavor. The following ATF wanted persons are the result of ATF criminal investigations, often in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, that resulted in the issuance of a federal arrest warrant. Several criteria are considered before choosing subjects for the ATF most wanted list. They are as follows: seriousness of the crime committed.
past criminal record of the defendant.
potential for the defendant to be a dangerous menace to society, based on the current or past charges.
belief that publicity afforded by the program will be of assistance in apprehending the wanted person.
