The Center for Excellence in teaching Learning researched the followingsites to help educate both student and teacher about plagiarism.

Plagiarism
Definition and Avoidance of Plagiarism:
Plagiarism: What It is and How to Recognize and Avoid It: The Indiana University Bloomington Writing Tutorial Services webpage provides a simple breakdown of how to recognize and avoid plagiarism. The examples of both acceptable and unacceptable paraphrases provide a starting point and a valuable guideline for student writers. Plagiarism and How to Avoid It The University of Hong Kong provides a more in-depth look into plagiarism. The most intriguing concept on this page is the self-test, which is used to raise a writer's consciousness about their work. The information provided is valuable to both student and teacher, because it causes one to reflect on their own work and others. Avoiding Plagiarism DePauw University provides a guideline to avoid plagiarism. Most notable is the example of a real-life case of plagiarism and how it is dealt with. Avoiding Plagiarism The Writing Place at Northwestern University provides another source and definition for plagiarism. It mostly deals with accidental plagiarism and how one deals with it.
