HOMEWORK POLICY A NOTE TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS Dear Parents and Students, trying to do the assignment, but makes the teacher aware that the student needs help. The student should bring in his/her attempts to do the work, so the teacher can determine where the problem lies. Sixth graders should spend at least one and a half to two hours a day on homework; seventh graders , two to two and a half; and eighth graders , two and a half to three hours. Remember that this includes study and reading time as well as written work.
