B = Does the above well but lacks some support or critical thinking; it has less impact than “A” content (Good Job!) Students will read and respond to a wide range of literature including poetry, short fiction, a minimum of two novels, one Shakespearean play and one additional play. In these readings, students will be introduced to the basic principles of literary criticism.
