I have lite the eternal flame in memory of my mentor, idol, and role model, Tarantulas.
Ahh, Tarantulas... YOU BASTURD! Why did you have to die?!?!?! *crys* Yes, It happened, He was killed, but at least he was trying to do what he does best when he was killed, being sneaky, and backstabbing. You see, he was trying to distroy the Alien(we find out in that episode, that the alien's are called the Vux) conscienceness inside the powerful frame of Tigerhawk
Had he succeeded, he would have won the beast wars, and killed all the maximals, but as we can tell from this picture, he didn't...
See, he was using this machine to delete the Vux, from Tigehawk, but they left the body , Tarantulas freaked and started shooting them, but instead of hitting them, he hit his machine, which turned, and killed him, and the Vux in one big explosion. The Beasts Wars lost a great charactor... *sigh*
Here are the other parts of my shrine de Tarantules

INTRODUCTION
Of the approximately 35,000 known species of spiders, some 800 or so are known as true tarantulas and are placed in the family Theraphosidae. They are mostly heavy-bodied, and have eight eyes on a small "bump" at the front of the body. In North America, tarantulas are found mostly in drier areas, from Arkansas westward. All tarantulas are venomous, and all can bite, although only a very few cause more than a localized "bee sting" reaction.
PET STORE TARANTULAS
The Chilean rose, Grammostola rosea, is a hardy ground-dweller from drier areas of northern Chile, and has been available in stores for several years. Several species in the genus Avicularia are also common in pet stores. These are called pinktoes and most are native to Brazil. As our hobby increases in popularity more and more species are entering the pet trade, and specialty dealers may offer dozens of kinds of tarantulas.
KEEPING YOUR TARANTULA HEALTHY
Maintaining a healthy tarantula means providing: 1) a secure, escape-proof cage, 2) proper food, 3) enough water, and 4) a proper environment.

William F. Lyon Over the past few years, tarantulas have become acceptable pets now widely sold, traded and kept in houses, apartments, schools and dormitories. Occasionally, these very large, hairy spiders escape within a dwelling causing alarm and panic among those fearing spiders. Actually, most tarantulas are docile, non-aggressive and rarely bite. Bites are not considered dangerous and cause little lasting pain. Bites are no more painful than a bee sting, and its symptoms should be treated similarly. Some have a dense covering of special hairs on the abdomen, which, when dislodged, cause skin irritation. This is mechanical rather than chemical in nature. The name tarantula has unfortunately become associated with several spider families, but most often is applied to the ones called the hairy mygalmorphs. Tarantulas have been much publicized in horror shows in movie houses and television shows due to their forbidding hairy appearance.
Identification
The largest tarantulas are tropical with a body length of 3-1/2 inches and leg span of 9-1/2 inches. The largest United States' species has a body length of two inches and leg span of about six inches. These spiders are stout-bodied and covered with hollow, needlelike, barbed hairs, especially on the abdomen. When disturbed, the hind legs are used to scrape off and throw very fine (fiberglass-like) abdominal hairs in the direction of danger, resulting in a remaining bald spot. A bald spot may also occur on the abdomen prior to the shedding of the skin. Hairs may cause a skin rash, allergic reaction and possibly anaphylactic shock to certain individuals.

30. The Twistin' Tarantulas - What's New

Dear Friends and Fans, Once again I'm overwhelmed by your support. The CD release party was most triumphant, selling out the Magic Bag and selling over 100 (!) CDs. I would like to thank you all and especially the Detroit area media for getting the word out. In November, I will celebrate 10 years since I first hoisted the Tarantulas banner. It will be a great party indeed. Stay tuned for info. The new CD, El Destroyo, is off and running and available:
  • at all Detroit area independent stores. (They don't always give local bands the best spot in the store, so it might be quicker to ask for it.) at our gigs or send 12 bucks (that includes shipping) to The Twistin' Tarantulas, 2748 Vermont, Detroit MI 48216. Make checks payable to Twistin' Tarantulas, Inc. out of state, it is available through Hepcat (check with them to either order it online or to find out what stores in your area have it.)
(As promised in the "Destroyo" liner notes, we have posted the lyrics page so you can sing along!) PETE'S BLADDER UPDATE: They have found more cancer in my bladder and plan on promptly removing it (Oh Boy!) another series of chemical treatments (Oh Joy!) then the bills (Hooray!) For some strange reason, no one will give me insurance now!? I don't qualify for medicaid, so, needless to say, I need to sell a few CDs! I don't have money to advertise it, so I'm counting on all of youse to spread the word. I'm not asking for charity, just grass-root support to help me sell a CD that is worth every penny of the purchase price. So...

Cold Hard Interview - Ian Corlett/Alec Willows (BotCon 2000) BotCon 2000. A convention that forged friendships and firmed my beliefs that the people who are involved with Transformers are a great group of people. Heathe was the only one of us able to go, so the rest of us are still insanely jealous of him. He met up with Gordy, the webmaster of Wheezebucket , and together they got some awesome footage as well as an interview with Ian Corlett (the voice of Cheetor), and Alec Willows (the voice of Tarantulas). Finally, the interview has been digitized. It is nearly 30 minutes long, and the video isn't that great, but we really had to think about the size of the video versus quality.
To Download:
PLEASE use a download manager such as GetRight or GoZilla , both of which can be found on Download.com . The file size is approx. 35 Megabytes , so people on a slower connection may want to wait just a bit. Wheezebucket is hosting the audio portion of this interview, so if you just want the audio, go get it.

Tarantulas are large hairy spiders that live in warm areas around the world, including South America, southern North America, southern Europe, Africa, southern Asia, and Australia. The greatest concentration of tarantulas is in South America. There are about 300 species of tarantulas. The biggest tarantula is Pseudotherathosa apophysis , which had a leg span of about 13 inches (33 cm). These arachnids have a very long life span; some species can live over 30 years. Habitat : Some tarantulas live in underground burrows; some live on the ground, and others live in trees. They live in rain forests deserts , and other habitats. Diet : Tarantulas are carnivores (meat-eaters). They eat insects (like grasshoppers and beetles), other arachnids , small reptiles (like lizards and snakes), amphibians (like frogs ), and some even eat small birds. Tarantulas kill their prey using venomous fangs; they also inject a chemical into the prey that dissolves the flesh. Tarantulas can crush their prey using powerful mouthparts. No person has ever died of a tarantula bite. Anatomy : Tarantulas have a hairy two-part body and very strong jaws (with venomous fangs). They have eight hairy legs; each leg has 2 tiny claws at the end and a cushioning pad behind the claws. The hairs on the body and legs are sensitive to touch, temperature, and smell. Tarantulas have a hard exoskeleton and not an internal skeleton.
