BHRSD
Web Quests are an exciting way of learning using the Internet primarily, with other sources available as well.
Web Quests were developed by Bernie Dodge in 1995 and since that time have grown in popularity. So, what is a Web Quest, you ask? It is just another way of presenting the material you teach so that students are guided through learning, using the Internet. Web Quests are "inquiry-oriented activities in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet."
Rather than try to re-invent the wheel however, I have selected a few sites for you to study, first to understand this a little better, second, some sites where you can to examine some Web Quests created by teachers that are out there on the Web and thirdly, some sites that will guide you through the process of creating a Web Quest.
I would be delighted to help the BHRSD teachers with this. All you need to do is ask me when you see me or email me.
