Prolific British author of wildly popular romances. As editor of Bentley's Miscellany from 1839, his novels were serialized for a mass audience . Historically accurate, Windsor Castle tells of Henry VIII and his marriages to Catherine of Arragon and the ill-fated Anne Boleyn. The links are to a public domain html versions of the book and can be used for any purpose. Windsor Castle is finished and is also available in a text version from the Gutenberg Project. Just starting work on "The History of Pendennis" by William Makepeace Thackeray. . Only the first few chapters as yet - still being proofread. This book is currently out of print.
