[Editor's Note: Chicago Tribune reporter "Nora Marks" was actually Eleanor Stackhouse Atkinson (1863-1942), who later became editor and publisher of The Little Chronicle Publishing Company in Chicago.] Little People Benefited. A Sort of Toynbee Hall at No. 335 South Halsted Street. Italians Specially Interested. Instruction and Entertainment at the New Institution. What a Visit to the Place Disclosed. There was a social gathering at No. 335 South Halsted street Saturday night that was not chronicled by the society reporter. South Halsted happenings are usually ignored in this Philistine fashion. But there was a notable event that deserves special mention and persuasion.
