"Never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up." Jesse Louis Jackson (1941- ) It is tempting for teachers to look down on students who behave or perform academically in ways that don't measure up to expectations. Worse still, it is tempting to speak disparagingly to or of such students. We put them down when we should be building them up. We dismiss them when we should be the wind beneath their wings. We have no choice in this matter. As teaching professionals we have an obligation to do whatever is necessary to help our students advance in wisdom and grace. The extent to which we devote ourselves to this end is the measure of our professionalism and the ultimate reward for our labors in the field of education.
"Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. The third is to be kind." Henry James (1843-1916)
"The world is changed not by the self-regarding, but by men and women prepared to make fools of themselves."

Three Great Zionist Men of Faith God raised up three great Zionist men of faith whom He used at crucial points during Israel’s march to statehood. 1 – Benjamin Disraeli [1804-1881] and the Berlin Congress of Nations [1878] Benjamin Disraeli traced his roots to a Jewish family expelled from Spain in the 15th century. He became Britain’s Prime Minister in 1868, and a confidant and counselor of Queen Victoria. He presented her with the controlling shares in the Suez Canal Company, which had been financed by the Rothschilds. Due to his political acumen, Disraeli opened the British trade route to India and obtained a foothold in Egypt. He passed a bill in parliament conferring upon Queen Victoria the title of Empress of India. For his services, Disraeli was awarded the title of Earl of Beaconsfield. From 1876 to 1878 Disraeli’s premiership was dominated by the Eastern Question. He fought for equal rights for Jews everywhere and believed in the return of the Jewish People to Palestine.

    Benjamin Disraeli
Benjamin Disraeli was born Jewish and is therefore sometimes considered Britain's first Jewish Prime Minister. In fact, he was a practicing Anglican. In 1813, his father's quarrel with the synagogue of Bevis Marks led to the decision in 1817 to have his children baptized as Christians (ironically, when Disraeli was 13 and eligible for Bar Mitzvah ). Until 1858 Jews were excluded from Parliament; except for the father's decision Disraeli's political career could never have taken the form it did. Benjamin Disraeli, was born in London on 21st December, 1804. His father, Isaac Disraeli, was the author of several books on literature and history, including The Life and Reign of Charles I (1828). After a private education Disraeli was trained as a solicitor. Like his father, Isaac Disraeli, Benjamin took a keen interest in literature. His first novel, Vivian Grey was published in 1826. The book sold very well and was followed by The Young Duke Contarini Fleming Alroy Henrietta Temple (1837) and Venetia Benjamin Disraeli was also interested in politics. In the early 1830s he stood in several elections as a Whig, Radical and as an Independent. Disraeli's early attempts ended in failure, but he was eventually elected to represent Maidstone in 1837.

    Famous quotations
Goethe, Faust , Faust Study 'Tis written: "In the beginning was the Word!" Here now I'm balked! Who'll put me in accord? It is impossible, the Word so high to prize, I must translate it otherwise If I am rightly by the Spirit taught. 'Tis written: In the beginning was the Thought! Consider well that line, the first you see, That your pen may not write too hastily! Is it then Thought that works, creative, hour by hour? Thus should it stand: In the beginning was the Power! Yet even while I write this word, I falter, For something warns me, this too I shall alter. The Spirit's helping me! I see now what I need And write assured: In the beginning was the Deed! Goethe, Faust , Studierzimmer Geschrieben steht: Im Anfang war das Wort! Hier stock ich schon! Wer hilft mir weiter fort?
