(G. G. p•*) FISHGUARD (Abergwaun), a market town, urban district, contributory parliamentary borough and seaport of Pembrokeshire, Wales, near the mouth of the river Gwaun, which here flows into Fishguard Bay of St George’s Channel. Pop. (19oI) 2002. Its railway station, which is the chief terminus of the South Wales system of the Great Western railway, is at the hamlet of Goodwick across the bay, a mile distant to the south-west. Fishguard Bay is deep and well sheltered from all winds save those of the N. and N.E., and its immense commercial value has long been recognized. After many years of labour and at a great expenditure of money the Great Western railway has constructed a fine breakwater and railway pier at Goodwick across the lower end of the bay, and an important passenger and goods traffic with Rosslare on the opposite Irish coast was inaugurated in 1906. FISK, JAMES (1834—1872), American financier, was born at Bennington, Vermont, on the 1st of April 1834. After a brief period in school he ran away and joined a circus. Later he became a hotel waiter, and finally adopted the business of his father, a pedlar. He then became a salesman for a Boston dry goods firm, his aptitude and energy eventually winning for him a share in the business. By his shrewd dealing in army contracts during the Civil War, and it is said by engaging in cotton smuggling

Expressions of Soul Thoughts on evolution and cosmogony, by John Chike Onyido Home Love quotes Poems African quotes ... FOOD FOR THOUGHT Is life just a random walk? EVOLUTION IS INDEED A PROCESS OF ENLIGHTENMENT
The centerpiece of this article was crafted over a decade ago in an attempt to explore what common grounds existed, if any, between the theory of Evolution and Creation and also proffer a few personal insights on Cosmogony. In the past 10 years however, my thoughts have become somewhat more refined having passed through the crucible, resulting from maturity and experience. In addition, a number of excellent books on related subjects have crossed my path strengthening and clarifying my long held views on these matters, that perhaps the time has come to venture some propositions on Cosmology and Cosmogony, by weaving together present knowledge on the subject. The 1st Insight - A Critical Mass
The 2nd Insight - The Longer Now
The 3rd Insight - A Matter of Energy
The 4th Insight - The Struggle for Power
The need to increase our personal energy on realizing our disconnection from the larger source of energy leads to an unconscious competition and human conflict for power. This leads to a form of psychological violence, which passes from generation to generation of the compulsory acquisition of power and energy from others who are weaker, in an illussionary fight for survival. The dominator feels more powerful and knowledgeable than the victim, whether on an individual or world scale. It all results from a feeling of weakness and insecurity in ourselves and the lack of knowledge of the infinite supply of this energy by nature.
