of Oceanview Memorial Park Oceanside, San Diego County, California Tombstone inscriptions were copied in 1990-1991 under the direction of Genealogical Records Chairman, Jeanne MacLardy. Oceanview Memorial Park, also referred to as Oceanview Cemetery, was formerly known as the I. O. O. F. or Oddfellow's Cemetery. It is located on Hill Street at Godfrey, one block South of Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside, California. According to "The San Diego Union" of 10 March 1895, "The Oceanside Odd Fellow's Cemetery association filed articles of incorporation in the country clerk's office yesterday." Burials appear to have begun on or shortly before the turn of the century and continued until the late 1980's. This cemetery has non-endowment care.
