Truth
The Origin and Development of Truths
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. Planck, Max; 1858-1947; German physicist, quoted in Mossis Kline: Mathematics and the Search for Knowledge An important scientific innovation rarely makes its way by gradually winning over and converting its opponents: it rarely happens that Saul becomes Paul. What does happen is that its opponents gradually die out and that the growing generation is familiarized with the idea from the beginning. Max Planck, The Philosophy of Physics (1936) All great truths begin as blasphemies. George Bernard Shaw All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. Schopenhauer Every great scientific truth, goes through three stages. First people say conflicts with the Bible. Next they say it had been discovered before. Lastly, they say they always believed it. Louis Agassiz Theories: Four stages of acceptance: i) this is worthless nonsense; ii) this is an interesting, but perverse, point of view; iii) this is true, but quite unimportant; iv) I always said so. (J.B.S. Haldane, Journal of Genetics #58, 1963,p.464)

There is no such thing as death. In nature nothing dies. From each sad remnantof decay, some form of life rises. Charles MacKay (18141889). Goddess Hecate.
http://wicca.ipagan.net/spiraltreegrove/hidden compost page 2.htm
You would know the secret of death. But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life? The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light. If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart. wide unto the body of life. For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.

Watching a peaceful death of a human being reminds us of a falling star; one of a million lights in a vast sky that flares up for a brief moment only to disapper into the endless night forever. ~ Elisabeth Kuebler-Ross, On Death and Dying, 1969 There is no such thing as death. In nature nothing dies. From each sad remnant of decay, some form of life rises.
