Margaret Hill (527) is a daughter of Timothy Hill (83) and Sarah Montgomery (84) . Margaret was born 11 August 1833 and was married before the 1860 Census, since she is not listed therein as part of the family of Timothy and Sarah Hill.
Margaret married Washington Franklin (528) probably in 1858 or earlier. Washington, born in New York about 1832, is a son of Moses Franklin (860) and his wife, Electa Ann (861) . Together, Margaret and Washington had at least six children: George W. (775) , born about 1859, married Susie McGuire (1033) Harry P. (777) , born about 1862, never married; Lillie May (778) , born about 1863; Archibald James (776) , born 28 May 1865, married Henrietta Perrine Slater (1022) on 31 March 1886; Chester P. (779) , born about 1869, married Anna ? (1037) ; and Minnie (1032) , who was born after 1870. In the 1860 census, Washington and Margaret were living in Mead Township, Crawford County, PA.
