From the Crawfordsville Journal, Fri. Feb 2, 1894: Susan Freeman, mother of J. C. Freeman, peacefully fell asleep in death on Fri. evening, Jan. 26, 1894, in the 78th year of her age. She has been a faithful member in the ME church since early in life and was very prompt in Christian work. The funrl. Services were conducted at the church by Rev. J. M.
