Beware new Nigerian Bush spam scam By Andrew Orlowski in San Francisco Posted: 27/01/2003 at 09:32 GMT
An unusual twist on the Nigerian 419 email scam has surfaced. So if you receive one of the following in your inbox, on no account take it seriously.
IMMEDIATE ATTENTION NEEDED:
HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL
FROM: GEORGE WALKER BUSH DEAR SIR / MADAM, I AM GEORGE WALKER BUSH, SON OF THE FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH, AND CURRENTLY SERVING AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THIS LETTER MIGHT SURPRISE YOU BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT MET NEITHER IN PERSON NOR BY CORRESPONDENCE. I CAME TO KNOW OF YOU IN MY SEARCH FOR A RELIABLE AND REPUTABLE PERSON TO HANDLE A VERY CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS TRANSACTION, WHICH INVOLVES THE TRANSFER OF A HUGE SUM OF MONEY TO AN ACCOUNT REQUIRING MAXIMUM CONFIDENCE. I AM WRITING YOU IN ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE PRIMARILY TO SEEK YOUR ASSISTANCE IN ACQUIRING OIL FUNDS THAT ARE PRESENTLY TRAPPED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRAQ. MY PARTNERS AND I SOLICIT YOUR ASSISTANCE IN COMPLETING A TRANSACTION BEGUN BY MY FATHER, WHO HAS LONG BEEN ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN THE EXTRACTION OF PETROLEUM IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND BRAVELY SERVED HIS COUNTRY AS DIRECTOR OF THE UNITED STATES CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY.

42. De-Central Intelligence Agency
Exposes the largest China White heroin smuggling operation in the United States, and the injustice surrounding the murder of nine Bhuddist monks in Arizona in 1991.
http://www.dcia.com
This site exposes the largest China White Heroin trafficking organization in the UNITED STATES and examines the dynamics of the most heinous drug crime of this century. This crime was the murder of 9 Buddhists at Wat Promkunaram Temple , Aug. 10, 1991 on the far west side of Phoenix, Arizona, USA. By this examination systemic narcotics corruption is revealed in many layers of Arizona government. While major media imposed a news blackout of the Temple Murders , Arizona law enforcement led by AIR FORCE Intelligence officers fabricated a case against teenagers known to be innocent. Other textbook examples of U.S. Department of Defense drug trafficking are presented. More intelligence fronts propagandizing the American public are exposed here than anywhere else. The business aspects of war are discussed. Economic crimes less than $300 million will probably not interest us.
Welcome To The DE-CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY In all conflicts there is really only one issue - centralization verses decentralization. No one is above the law. No one is below the law.

The directory is intended to be used primarily as a reference aid and includes as many governments of the world as is considered practical, some of them not officially recognized by the United States. Regimes with which the United States has no diplomatic exchanges are indicated by the initials NDE. Governments are listed in alphabetical order according to the most commonly used version of each country's name. The spelling of the personal names in this directory follows transliteration systems generally agreed upon by US Government agencies, except in the cases in which officials have stated a preference for alternate spellings of their names. NOTE: Although the head of the central bank is listed for each country, in most cases he or she is not a Cabinet member. Ambassadors to the United States and Permanent Representatives to the UN, New York, have also been included.

... Relationships with Other Government Organizations The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an agency exclusively devoted to the business of intelligence. It is a unique member of the Intelligence Community in that the head of the CIA is also the leader of the entire Community (the Director of Central Intelligence). These are two separate leadership positions occupied by the same individual. The entire Agency is considered to be a member of the IC. CIA’s Contribution to Intelligence
The CIA is an independent agency, responsible to the President through the DCI, and accountable to the American people through the intelligence oversight committees of the U.S. Congress. CIA's mission is to support the President, the National Security Council, and all officials who make and execute U.S. national security policy by:
  • Providing accurate, comprehensive, and timely foreign intelligence on national security topics

... George J. Tenet was confirmed July 10, 1997, as the current Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) . The DCI serves not only as the head of the United States Intelligence Community, but also as head of the CIA. He is assisted in leading the CIA by a Deputy Director of Central Intelligence, currently John E. McLaughlin . The DDCI assists the Director in his duties as head of the CIA and the Intelligence Community and exercises the powers of the Director when the Director's position is vacant or in the Director's absence or disability. The Executive Director of the Central Intelligence Agency is A. B. Krongard. The EXDIR manages the CIA on a day-to-day basis. The CIA is organized into four major components, which together carry out "the intelligence process" - the cycle of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence:
  • The Directorate of Operations (DO) is the clandestine arm of the CIA. Its core mission is to support our country’s security and foreign policy interests by conducting clandestine activities to collect information that is not obtainable through other means. The information the DO collects is screened for reliability before its dissemination to policymakers. Although the primary focus of the DO is the collection and dissemination of foreign intelligence, it also conducts counterintelligence activities abroad and special activities as authorized by the President.

The CIA has often been criticized for covert operations in the domestic politics of foreign countries. The agency was heavily involved in the failed 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba, deeply embarrassing the United States. In 1971 the U.S. government acknowledged that the CIA had recruited and paid an army fighting in Laos. In 1973 the CIA came under Congressional investigation for its role in the Pentagon Papers Allende . In 1986 it was shown to be involved in the Iran-Contra investigation. While covert operations receive the most attention, the CIA's major responsibility is intelligence, in which it uses not only covert agents but such technological resources as satellite photos and intercepted telecommunications transmissions.
