21. Off The Map And Amuck In America...
Preston Tyrrell describes road trips to various destinations in the United States.
http://www.amuckinamerica.com/
Welcome T hanks for stopping by the official web site of "Off the Map and Amuck in America"–our yearly trip to nowhere: a quest for quirky Americana Pop Culture landmarks and general odd stuff. T Amuck '03 is now in the books. S core one for the USPS . While on the road I was missing an addressor two. I sent Andy a post card with about an incomplete address as one could, and don't ask me how, but Andy got it. A s you can see, all I had was a name, city and state. It looks like the Post Office tried to give it a zip code, but gave up. Dealing with people like me who send out letters with bad address all day, no wonder the workers "go postal". T he last week in February was be "Off The Map.... With a Diaper Bag" Still working a better name. Anyway here is the deal. I headed to Phoenix Arizona to baby sit my nephew Terran Bear.
I took one nephew across the country, I guess I can take an other. We did our best to fan out like the spokes of wheel from the Phoenix area for fun fill day trips.

Title Index The Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress holds more than 4.5 million items, of which Map Collections represents only a small fraction, those that have been converted to digital form. The focus of Map Collections Map Collections is organized according to seven major categories. Because a map will be assigned to only one category, unless it is part of more than one core collection, searching Map Collections at this level will provide the most complete results since the indexes for all categories are searched simultaneously. Maps can now be downloaded Searching Map Collections The mission of the Library of Congress is to make its resources available and useful to Congress and the American people and to sustain and preserve a universal collection of knowledge and creativity for future generations. The goal of the Library's National Digital Library Program is to offer broad public access to a wide range of historical and cultural documents as a contribution to education and lifelong learning. The Library of Congress presents these documents as part of the record of the past. These primary historical documents reflect the attitudes, perspectives, and beliefs of different times. The Library of Congress does not endorse the views expressed in these collections, which may contain materials offensive to some readers.
