She starts writing letters and being a pen -pal to Mr. Sam N's fifth grade class. Soon Sally Mander and Dee Eel find out that Florence is replacing the fountain. They get nervous that their secret might be discovered and they decide to take action! Meanwhile, Florence is giving gifts to the class, so they decide to invite her to Dry Creek Days. Then Minnie O. leaves her tape recorder in a locker and it records that Spring Creek is really in the leaking fountain!
