Welcome to Cross-Browser.com
X version 3.8 is now ready for testing CBE version 4.19 is now available! Cross-Browser.com features two cross-browser DHTML Javascript libraries. They support IE, Gecko (NS6, Mozilla, Phoenix, Galeon, etc.), Opera, Konqueror, NN4, and any other browsers with similar object models. The CBE library implements the DOM object tree, the DOM2 event model, and other DOM2 interfaces. The X library is a small but powerful library developed as a result of my experiences in developing CBE. Both libraries use object-detection, instead of browser-detection, as much as possible. Extensive documentation and examples are provided on this site. A free download package is available which contains the libraries, examples, and documentation. CBE and X are distributed under the terms of the LGPL. Please read the license before using either of the libraries. Latest project: FosterElectronics.com - a cross-browser dynamic user interface using the X library. Latest menus: Floating Cascading Menu and Floating Horizontal Menu Other menus: Panel Menu and Cascading Dropdown Menu This site and CBE were developed with UltraEdit-32 , a most excellent programmer's editor.

Thanks Robert! I am planning a complete replacement for this tutorial as well as a commercially supported set of widgets and tools that work along with DynAPI 2.9. Version 2.9 is my revamp of DynAPI2, it was released a short time ago and is available for download here . This is considered the latest developement version of DynAPI. Please note that if you are using scripts and code explained in this tutorial it is not necessary for you to change your code around just to keep up with the latest releases of DynAPI 2. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" is a good principle to go by. The topics covered and code explained in this tutorial are still great ways to create cross-browser scripts. Moving CMF site across platforms (3:32:44 PM) [edit] replies. reply full thread One great thing about Zope is that you can move a Zope instance from one machine to another, and it just works... even if the other machine is on a different architecture or operating system. (case in point: I developed Tyrell's plone site on Mac OS X and copied it onto our Linux/Intel server... it just worked). However, if you move between Windows and an operating system that uses forward slashes for path delimiters, like UNIX/Linux/BSD/OSX/etc, you need to make some minor edits in the CMF portal_skins configuration to change some relative paths from backslashes to forwardslashes, or vice versa. This script from the ZopeLabs cookbooks makes that process very easy.

About the UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Site This site contains working drafts for the human, mouse, and rat genomes. The human genome is over 95% complete. Approximately 90% of the sequence is in a highly accurate 'finished' state. The other 10% is merely 'draft' quality. Some care must be taken when interpreting draft regions, but these are still very useful to the working scientist. The mouse genome is largely the result of a full genome shotgun assembly. While there are many gaps in the sequence, the order and orientation of the contigs on either side of a gap are known in almost all cases. We estimate that 90-96% of the mouse genome is present in the assembly. We encourage you to explore the working drafts with the genome browser, which displays the work of many annotators worldwide. The Genome Browser and the data it displays are freely available for academic, nonprofit, and personal use with a few exceptions. Check the README.txt file in the download directory of a particular assembly to view the use restrictions specific to that release. Interactive use is limited to a maximum of 10,000 hits/day or 10 hits/minute.

EWS Web Server - manager@ews.uiuc.edu These tables summarize browsers used by hosts in 62 countries making accesses on 17/Mar/2003 to the Engineering Workstations WWW server at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign . The lion's share of accesses to this server are for engineering student home pages . Information about browser types is extracted from the User-Agent HTTP Request header provided by nearly all browsers. Hosts, not accesses or people, are summarized in these tables. That is, a host gets only one vote (for its most recently used browser.) Thus browsers on large multi-user Unix systems or proxy servers may in some sense be under-reported, while those on terminal servers or other networks using dynamic addresses may perhaps be over-reported. (Note: during this run 1.6% of the accesses were identifiable as coming from proxy servers.) Latest Day Week Month Archives ... Server Stats
