He initially presented with fevers, headache, blood in the urine and was told by an emergency room doctor that he had a urinary tract infection and was given a ten day dose of Bactrim. After a day or so he developed pain and swelling in the testicles. He then went to a free clinic and was diagnosed with epididymitis and orchitis. He was given a shot of ceftriaxone and a gram or two of azithromycin to drink. This was a few days ago. Last night he had a fever of 104 degrees F. and threw up. He still has pain in the testicles. Is the situation getting worse and should he seek additional medical attention? Dear Gregg

I continue to suffer from chronic epididymitis, the cord is always swollen and painfull, whether infection is present or not. : Can I truly have a nuerogenic bladder w/out any presence of other nuerologic disease? Is this a muscle or nerve problem? My Dr. scoped me and ruled out a stricture. He said the neck/sphincture of my bladder, and rectum, "go the wrong way".?
