Métodos: Analizamos nueve pacientes con hemangioma circunscrito de coroides, realizando en todos ellos: exploración oftalmológica, AFG, ecografía oftálmica estandarizada y RNM. Se instauró tratamiento en casos sintomáticos o complicados; tratando ocho pacientes con láser Argón verde y uno con braquiterapia con hilos de 192Ir. Resultados: El tamaño medio varió entre 4-8 mm de base y 2,5-6 mm de altura. La localización fue subfoveal en seis pacientes, con invasión macular en dos casos y con afectación del borde temporal del disco óptico en uno. No se apreció mejoría de la A.V. en ningún paciente, pero sí estabilización en tres casos. El diagnóstico se confirmó en el 100% de los casos mediante técnicas de imagen. Conclusiones: La importancia del hemangioma de coroides radica sobre todo en el diagnóstico difierencial con el melanoma, ya que tanto el tratamiento como el pronóstico son radicalmente diferentes.
