When presented with this daunting task, one film stuck out more than any other. Navy Seals . What can I say, I obtained a VHS copy of this movie out of a box of Pop Tarts, and suddenly I felt like I should've purchased Toaster Strudel instead. Navy Seals is the story of Lt. James Curran (Michael Biehn), Ens. Dale Hawkins (Charlie Sheen), and the rest of the United States Navy's finest in unconventional warriors, the Navy Seals. Let me begin by saying that I am a fan of the Navy Seals. They are a highly effective, efficient special warfare group. In the movie, however, they're just a bunch of overacting boobs with a script pulled, most likely, out of a drunken stupor. Let me further continue by saying that I like cheezy movies, including ones starring Charlie Sheen. This movie, however, is pure, unadulterated, unoriginal, trite crap. It's one hour, fifty-one minutes of pure garbage, interspersed with about two minutes of vaguely interesting explosions and special weapons. And, in the end, the explosions aren't worth much, either. I've seen pyroflatulence that has had better results. This movie begins with your standard issue International Incident in the most evil of all seas, the Mediterranean. Some bad guys in a black boat shoot down an American Navy helicopter and capture its crew. The story unfolds as our heroes trounce around the world, fighting Generi-Terrorists when, where, and however they might find them. The team discovers that the bad men are in possession of smuggled US weapons, which they also decide is probably a bad thing. So, the mirth and joviality commence with due prejudice as they investigate the plot to smuggle the weapons, and the terrorist's activities in general.

Zunächst ist abschliessend zur PI:RE (#13) zu sagen, dass sich unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt haben. Zusammen mit Euch haben wir es geschafft, ein weiteres Mal eine richtig fette PI durchzuziehen, bei der der "Party-Faktor" bemerkenswert hoch angesiedelt war. Aber auch die "klassischen" Features der PI kamen nicht zu kurz, und viele spannende Partien wurden ausgespielt. Wir freuen uns über viele positive Stimmen, die wir noch auf und natürlich nach der Party gehört haben. Da viele Mitglieder der "Members of PI" gegenwärtig beruflich und privat sehr ausgelastet sind und die norddeutsche "Partylandschaft" für die kommenden Monate gut gefüllt ist, wird es aber zumindest in diesem Jahr keine weitere PI mehr geben. Planungen für das nächste Jahr haben wir noch nicht aufgenommen - eine weitere "Resurrection" ist aber nicht ausgeschlossen. Positiv ist, dass wir diese Zeit zur Reflektion nutzen können - wir hätten noch durchaus Ideen, wie wir die PI featuremässig weiter nach vorne bringen könnten.
