81. SwitchHack
Bypass your Application launcher. Switch back the most recently run application with a single stroke. With a different stroke, get a menu of the ten most recently run applications. It's like AltTab for the PalmPilot. Shareware
http://www.deskfree.com/SwitchHack.html
SwitchHack 1.62 Do you only run one Palm program? Of course you don't! SwitchHack provides a simple and fast method to switch between recent Palm applications. Launch a program (via launcher, hardware buttons or silk buttons) and you can switch to the original program with a single stroke. Apply the stroke a second time and you have switched back to the new program. It's like they are both running at the same time! But SwitchHack now goes even further. Bypass your launcher to turbocharge your Palm productivity. SwitchHack now gives you, with a single stroke, an instant menu of the ten most recently run applications for you to select by name. Why wade through the screens of icons to return to a program you were recently running?
You know where you want to go, so just go there! SwitchHack still gives you the convenience of toggling between two applications, but now gives instant access to TEN applications at once. But not a pre-determined set of ten applications, SwitchHack offers you the most important applications - those you are currently using. As a bonus, SwitchHack will return to the last viewed/edited address when switching back to the Address Book application, rather tham returning to the list of addresses. This makes transcribing an address much easier as you don't have to keep finding the particular address each time you switch back.

Study: Light drinking may cut stroke risk
Story Tools RELATED Interactive: Guidelines for stroke prevention A drink a day to keep the heart attacks away? American Stroke Association National Stroke Association ... Journal of the American Medical Association (CNN) Studies have indicated that drinking alcohol in moderation can cut heart attack risks, and new research supports the theory that the same holds true for preventing strokes. "Light to moderate alcohol consumption may be protective against ... stroke while heavy alcohol consumption increases the risk," said Kristi Reynolds, a doctoral student at Tulane University and co-author of the study, which is published in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association. Tulane University researchers reviewed 35 studies from 1983 to 2002 and concluded that one to two drinks a day is associated with an almost 30 percent lower risk of stroke, the third leading cause of death in the United States. But the findings don't mean the public should start an alcohol habit. The research also found that heavy drinkers increased their risk of stroke by more than 60 percent, canceling out any health benefits of alcohol.

The Stroke interface allows a object to obtain a Shape that is the decorated outline, or stylistic representation of the outline, of the specified Shape . Stroking a Shape is like tracing its outline with a marking pen of the appropriate size and shape. The area where the pen would place ink is the area enclosed by the outline Shape The methods of the interface that use the outline Shape returned by a Stroke object include draw and any other methods that are implemented in terms of that method, such as drawLine drawRect drawRoundRect drawOval drawArc drawPolyline , and drawPolygon The objects of the classes implementing Stroke must be read-only because does not clone these objects either when they are set as an attribute with the setStroke method or when the object is itself cloned. If a Stroke object is modified after it is set in the context then the behavior of subsequent rendering would be undefined.

Depression and Other Illnesses
Introduction
Depression can strike anyone, but people with serious illnesses such as stroke may be at greater risk. Appropriate diagnosis and treatment of depression may bring substantial benefits to persons recovering from a stroke by improving their medical status, enhancing their quality of life, and reducing their pain and disability. Treatment for depression also can shorten the rehabilitation process, lead to more rapid recovery and resumption of routine, and save health care costs (e.g., eliminate nursing home expenses). Stroke can occur in all age groups and can happen even to fetuses still in the womb; but three-fourths of strokes occur in people 65 years of age and over, making stroke a leading cause of disability in older persons.
