    MORE SPACE FOR RESEARCH
    EML expands into the Neighborhood
EML has moved into the adjacent building of Villa Bosch recently. In the last few years, the institute has grown considerably: At the moment, fifty scientists and about the same number of doctoral students, diploma students and student helpers are working for EML. Consequently, Villa Bosch became too small to house some 100 people. Therefore, the Lab moved, step by step, into the three-story-building next to the Villa. Now the move has been almost completed. At Villa Bosch, there will remain one research group, and EML meetings and events will - as before - take place at Villa Bosch and the "Studio". The grounds of the new building are historically connected to Villa Bosch: Nobel prize laureate Carl Bosch had once established his own observatory here. The new EML building.
