Biber was a composer and violinist who worked as court musician for the Archbishop of Salzburg. August 12, 1805 Birth of Johann Jakob Herzog in Basel, Switzerland. A Protestant theologian at the Universities of Halle and Erlangen, he edited the standard work on Protestant theology, Real-Encyklopädie für protestantische Theologie und Kirche. August 12, 1805 Birth of Johann Karl Rodertus in Greifswald, Germany. Rodertus was an economist whose views on economics were sufficiently liberal to enable economic reform, but sufficiently conservative to be accepted by the powers of the times. He was thus a key figure in passing the economic/social reforms in Prussia. He recognized that the working poor could not earn enough to have a positive effect on the whole of the national economy and thus needed more to effect a general rise in the standard of living.

Irismeisters are all those knowledgeable people who have already contributed to the advent and development of iris studies. Specifically, publication of an iris study on site, attendance of Advanced Irismeister Degree Program Seminars, a high median score of the Multiple Choice Question Same Day Certification Exam, publication of iris studies volumes, and other detailed and objective criteria offer everyone (the irismeister candidates) the coveted five stars. Honorary irismeisters are distinguished achievers of all times , to whom we pay due credit, y compris for criticizing our own brand new flavors of iris studies with serious data and flawless conjectures. Honorary irismeisters may also be active right now. O ne to F ive stars are only offered to irismeisters who devote more than 50% of their work and time to the iris cause. For some irismeisters more data and more than one photo s Work hard! T hank you very much in advance!

Forceful plantar flexion at the ankle may result in dorsiflexion of the toes in pyramidal tract lesions. Biography: "It's better with a bottle in front of you than a frontal lobotomy". Joseph Wanburgh. Egas Moniz, considered the father of modern psycho-surgery, is chiefly remembered as the originator of lobotomy. In 1949 he shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Walter Rudolf Hess, Switzerland (1881-1973). Hess (Zurich University) won the prize "for his discovery of the functional organization of the interbrain as a coordinator of the activities of the internal organs". Egas Moniz (University of Lisbon, Neurological Institute) won the prize "for his discovery of the therapeutic value of leucotomy in certain psychoses". In the name of a hero Egas Moniz' real name was Antonio Caetano de Abreu Freire. He was born on the family farm in Avancha in northern Portugal, the son of Fernando de Pina Rezende Abreu and Maria do Rosario de Almeida e Sousa. His godfather named him Egas Moniz after the hero of the Portuguese resistance against the Moors.

Overview
History
In the last hundred years, Zurich scientists have contributed significantly to research on
the nervous system. Auguste Forel showed in his studies in 1887 that the nerve
cell and nerve fiber form a unit, later called the 'neuron'. Constantin von Monakow
founded the Institute of Brain Anatomy in 1891. He showed in 1882 that the nerve
pathway connecting the retina with the visual cortex has a relay station in the
midbrain. Walter Rudolf Hess received the Nobel Price in 1949 for his work on
the role of the midbrain in autonomic functions like sleep, hunger or defense
mechanisms. In the year 1962 Konrad Akert founded the Brain Research Institute
of the University of Zurich. Alexander Borbély, Walter Lichtensteiger and Hans Zeier
organized the Work Group in Neurobiology in 1972 where more than twenty institutes
and clinics of the University and ETH Zurich participated. The successor of the Work Group in Neurobiology is the Neuroscience Center Zurich (ZNZ) founded in October Friedrich Goll (1829-1903), Zurich medical doctor and neuro anatomist.
