Ehrlichem) prowadzi³ farmakochemiczne badania soli kompleksowych metali, m.in. otrzyma³ kompleks salwarsanu z srebrem. Switzerland 1997 Czeslaw Slania has only designed one stamp for Switzerland, as a joint issue with Sweden in 1997. The Swiss chemist PAUL KARRER (1889-1971) was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1937. He worked on isolating and determining the structure of carbohydrates and vitamins and was the first to describe the structure of a vitamin. He also demonstrated that carotenoids are transformed into vitamin A in the body. SG 1362

The stamps are a joint issue with Sweden and were drawn by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd and engraved by Czeslaw Slania. They were printed by combination print at Sweden Post Stamps. The FDC illustration and cancellation are designed by Olof Baldursdottir. Above is shown a print of the similar Swedish stamps together with an image of the Swedish FDC.
  • 1997. Alfred Nobel on a Swiss souvenir sheet. With his invention of dynamite ALFRED NOBEL (1833-1896) created a safer way of transporting the explosive nitroglycerine.
