Index Do You Believe in God? If you believe the Polls, over 85% of the population of the planet still believes in a God and their family's religion. I personally believe that the real figure would actually be somewhat lower, maybe 50/50 at the most. You see, many who have lost their faith and belief in their God, won't admit to it. In many cases they are either protecting themselves or their families from the scandal it would cause, and I really don't blame them. Many places on Mother Earth, it could just as easily and quickly mean their death as well, when dealing with the Christian religion.On the other hand, there has always been a few with courage to stand up and be counted in the ranks of the Unbelievers, and I aplaude them, one and all.
