There's a place in the Ozarks where magic happens. It's called Shimmering Lakes.
We at Thrillpick know that running a humor site that thirty people have visited isn’t about the cars, the money, the houses, the women, the trips to Europe, the Elephant testical revitalizing drink that preserves our withered bodies for yet another year or any of that. We know that it’s all about giving back. And what group most needs our help? That’s right, Nobel Peace Prize Laureates who have gone wrong. That’s why we created Shimmering Lakes, an outreach program and drug rehabilitation center in the Ozarks. Here’s what people we’ve helped have had to say about our work
“I was a very angry person, I mean look at me wrong before I’d had my mornings first freebase and I was liable to cut your nuts off. But that was before Shimmering Lakes. They taught me true inner peace, and to stop shiving people in their sleep. Before I could forgive baby killers I needed to learn how to forgive myself. Shimmering Lakes taught me that and more."
    Mother Theresa
"Having to share my year with Frederic Passy really angered me for a long time and I took it out on people in childish ways. I often called him Frederic Pussy when I gave interviews. After Shimmering Lakes taught me to like myself for me I stopped egging houses and leaving bags of shit on people’s doorstep. Thank you, Shimmering Lakes. Thank you for giving me my life back."

, a collection of essays he had published in the course of his research, and he secured his scholarly reputation with a series of lectures delivered in 1860-1861 at the University of Montpellier and later published in two volumes under the title . An admirer of Richard Cobden, he became an ardent free trader, believing that free trade would draw nations together as partners in a common enterprise, result in disarmament, and lead to the abandonment of war. Passy lectured on economic subjects in virtually every city and university of any consequence in France and continued a stream of publications on economic subjects, some of the more important being Malthus et sa doctrine L'Histoire du travail (1873). Passy's passionate belief in education found expression in (1859) end
Passy carried on his efforts within the government as well. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1881, again in 1885, and defeated in 1889. In the Chamber he supported legislation favorable to labor, especially an act relating to industrial accidents, opposed the colonial policy of the government, drafted a proposal for disarmament, and presented a resolution calling for arbitration of international disputes.
His parliamentary interest in arbitration was whetted by

Liste over alle prisvinnerne kan du lese her
