Lower School Music Teacher Mr. Case earned his Bachelor of Music Education Degree at Westminster Choir College in Princeton where he studied voice with Thomas Faracco. He performed in the Westminster Chapel Choir, the Westminster Symphonic Choir, and was one of the youngest singers invited to perform with the renowned Westminster Choir. His performances with the choirs include concerts at the Academy of Music and Carnegie Hall under the baton of Joseph Flummerfelt, Ricardo Muti, and Eric Leinsdorf. Mr. Case currently teaches Lower School Music and is the director of the Treble Choir.
Valerie Conway Case, pianist
Lower School Music Teacher Mrs. Case holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Music from the University of Delaware. While her principle instrument is the piano, which she has studied with Marcantonio Barone and Harold Zabrack, her exceptional musicianship and vocal artistry was recognized at Westminster Choir College with a position in the Symphonic Choir. Mrs. Case is an experienced music educator and choral director who held positions in the Springfield School District and the Malvern school. She currently teaches Lower School music classes at Haverford, and is the accompanist for the Treble Choir.

Conductor Kenneth Kiesler is Director of Orchestras and Professor of Conducting at the School of Music of the University of Michigan. There he has conducted orchestras, choral/orchestral works and opera productions, and headed the orchestral conducting program since 1995. The graduate conducting programs attract applicants world-wide and have been consistently ranked first in the nation by US News and World Report . His former students hold prominent positions with major symphony orchestras, opera companies and educational institutions, and have won major international competitions. Mr. Kiesler regularly leads conductors' master classes for the American Symphony Orchestra League, the Conductors' Guild, the Conductors' Institute, the Manhattan School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, and Oxford University.

Kiesler has appeared as guest conductor with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, the Chicago Symphony at Orchestra Hall, the Utah, Detroit, New Jersey, Florida, Indianapolis, Memphis, and San Diego Symphonies; the orchestras of Albany, Virginia, Omaha, Fresno, Long Beach, Long Island and Portland, the Texas Chamber Orchestra, the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Festivals of Meadowbrook, Skaneateles, Sewanee, Breckenridge, and Aspen. Kiesler has appeared several times with the Jerusalem Symphony and the Haifa Symphony in Israel, the Osaka Philharmonic in Japan, the Puerto Rico Symphony in San Juan, the New Symphony Orchestra in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Pusan Symphony among others in Korea.

Betty Jones
She was a member of Mount Zion AME Church in Hodges. She was educated in the Abbeville School System. She was an employee of Capsugel in Greenwood.
Surviving are son, Marquez Morton of the home; daughter, Marquia Jones of the home; father, Moses Morton of the home; mother, Georgia Morton of the home; and sisters, Michelle C. Morton of Charlotte, N.C., Mary Alice Tate, Linda Morton and Vanessa Morton, all of Abbeville.
She was the widow of John Henry Jones.
Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion AME Church, Hodges, with Elder Oscar Klugh; burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Family members will be at the home.
Richie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bill David Taylor Born in Franklin County, having lived most of his life in Franklin and Stephens Counties. He was retired from Coats and Clark after 35 years of service, where he worked as a machine fixer. He was also a lifelong member of the Sunshine United Methodist Church, where he was a former Sunday school teacher and was a former Trustee of the Cemetery Committee. He was a Mason. Surviving are widow, Dessie Smith Taylor of the home; sons, James Taylor, Terry Taylor and Charles Taylor, all of Toccoa; sisters, Polly Seawright and Sara Neil Moseley, both of Toccoa, Joella Coker of Smyrna and Barbara Hallford of Toccoa; five grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

    Director, Bells of Bowmanville, Bowmanville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bowmanville. J.-C. was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and currently lives in Greenwood, Ontario. As a freelance accompanist, conductor and church musician, he participates in a wide range of musical events throughout the eastern Greater Toronto area, including current appointments with Manor Road United Church (Toronto), Durham College Community Choir (Oshawa), and Bells of Bowmanville. He has been ringing since 1989 and directing bells since 1998. His favourite handbell composition is Elegy by William Payn. In his spare time, he likes to travel, read, think, and satisfy his curiosity.
