EC : I decided to become a composer and pianist since I was a child. My father was one of the most famous composers in Mexico and I really wanted to follow his example. The day my parents died in a car accident when I was 13, I made myself the promise that I will honor him and make a legacy. IJ Are your fathers compositions available commercially? EC : Yes, You can find his compositions perfomed by many atrists, the most important are Jorge Negrete and Placido Domingo. Placido Domingo won a Grammy in the last awards with the album 100 años de Mariachi , this is an album that has a compilation of the best mexican songs in history. Placido recorded three of my father's songs for this album " Yo soy Mexicano ", "
