Unemployed aged more than 49 are given the possibility to be granted during 12 months whenever they have worked 210 days in the last 14 months previous the unemployment.
Spain
- Early retirement (at age 64) on full pension.
- In accordance with the Industrial Restructuring Law, workers in these sectors who are eligible are entitled to a form of benefit financed under the relevant sectoral restructuring plan rather than by the social security scheme. These benefits are of particular significance for workers aged 55 at the time of restructuring, who may draw them until they reach 65 years of age.
- Partial retirement as from age 60 subject to a proportional reduction in retirement pension.

G1070: Integration and Measure
Level 3 : 12 credits : Autumn Term
Aims
To show how Lebesgue's theory overcomes some deficiencies in Riemann's theory and to provides a simple but powerful tool for classical analysis. To introduce the ideas essential for the modern treatment of applied mathematics, theoretical physics, functional analysis and probability theory.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course successful students should
  • know the concept and the properties of a sigma-additive measure; understand how the concepts of integral and measure are related; be able to state and apply central results of integration theory such as: monotone and dominated convergence theorems or parameter-dependent integrals; know basic facts on L p spaces.
Syllabus
Introduction to Borel measures and Lebesgue integrals in measure spaces. L p spaces and applications to probability theory. Prerequisites: Advanced Calculus I and II, Real Variable.

1482. A Measure of Stock Market Integration for Developed and Emerging Markets
Robert A. Korajczyk
(June 1995) Along several dimensions, a measure of the financial integration of equity markets yields results consistent with prior assumptions about the relationship between effective integration, explicit capital controls, capital market development, and economic growth. If equity markets are financially integrated, the price of risk should be the same across markets. If the markets are not financially integrated-possibly because of barriers to capital flows across markets-the price of risk may differ across markets. Korajczyk investigates one measure of financial integration between equity markets. He uses a multifactor equilibrium Arbitrage Pricing Theory to define risk and to measure deviations from the "law of one price." He applies the integration measure to equities traded in 24 countries (four developed, and 20 emerging). The measure of market segmentation tends to be much larger for emerging markets than for developed markets, which is consistent with larger barriers to capital flows into or out of the emerging markets. The measure tends to decrease over time, which is consistent with growing levels of integration.

Objective
To support the social integration and the development of attitudes, behaviour and abilities before integration into the labour market. This is for people who will need a relatively long-term period to enter the labour market.
Measures replaced
A section of Extra.
Targeted customers
People who will need a relatively long-term period to enter the labour market. They must be eligible for Employment Insurance, Income Security or unemployed and without financial assistance. Since active recipients of Employment Insurance benefits are eligible, their participation should be exceptional since this measure is not meant for people with recent work experience.
Eligible activities
  • Duties conducted within a project framework dealing with the development or preservation of abilities, attitudes or behaviour encouraging social and professional integration by participating in community volunteer work.
  • Activities that offer evolutionary progress that ensure the participants have appropriate supervision and support.

It is a short, highly readable book with plenty of simple exercises that build your skills without taxing your patience. If you are unfamiliar with real analysis—point-set topology, convergence of sequences of functions, delta-epsilon proofs—you will want to read Apsotol ( ) first.
