BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Zenica, Bosnia and Hercegovina, 22.jan.1954, lived in Doboj 1955-1992.I studied mathematics in Sarajevo and received diploma in 1977. Master of Arts work I defended at Zagreb's University in 1988 with the theme:
"Riemann Stieltjes integral in Banach algebra".
I defended the doctorial dissertation at Zagreb's University, 1990 under the title:
"Stieltjes integral in Banach spaces" where I received the title - Doctor of Mathematics. In this doctoral dissertation I introduced multilinear Stieltjes integral and proved existence in Moore-Pollard sense, Riemann sense and Young sense. Completely new theorems were given, in the case when the functions under the integral sign have common discontinuities.

BASIC SKILLS COURSES
NOTE: A student who has recently taken a pre-calculus course in high school should be prepared to enter calculus. A student with three years of high school mathematics, including two years of algebra and one year of geometry, should be prepared to take MATH 1130, or possibly MATH 1300. Such students, and others who are unsure about what mathematics course to begin with, should call the Mathematics and Computer Science Department for advice (885-4011). Also, Assessment and Testing (885-3661) offers placement tests that can assist students in finding the appropriate starting class.

Geometric Calculus is a language for expressing and analyzing the full range of geometric concepts in mathematics. Clifford algebra provides the grammar. Complex numbers, quaternions, matrix algebra, vector, tensor and spinor calculus and differential forms are integrated into a singe comprehensive system. The geometric calculus developed in this book has the following features: a systematic development of definitions, concepts and theorems needed to apply the calculus easily and effectively to almost any branch of mathematics or physics; a formulation of linear algebra capable of detailed computations without matrices or coordinates; new proofs and treatments of canonical forms including an extensive discussion of spinor representations of rotations in Euclidean n -space; a new concept of differentiation which makes it possible to formulate calculus on manifolds and carry out complete calculations of such things as the Jacobian of a transformation without resorting to coordinates; a coordinate-free approach to differential geometry featuring a new quantity, the shape tensor, from which the curvature tensor can be computed without a connection; a formulation of integration theory based on a concept of directed measure, with new results, including a generalization of Cauchy's integral formula to

    Personal History
    I was born in Taipei and was the second among eleven children of my parents. My father was a school principal and my mother was a school teacher. As a child I planned to open a family owned and operated private school to utilize the talents of my brothers and sisters. I won several local, national, and international competitions in painting, speech, essays, performing arts, running, and jumping rope as a child.
