There will be four eclipses in 2003, two of the Sun and two of the Moon. Solar eclipses are visible only in certain areas and require eye protection to be viewed safely. Lunar eclipses are technically visible from the entire night side of Earth, but during a penumbral eclipse, the dimming of the Moon's illumination is slight. 1. Total eclipse of the Moon, May 15-16. The beginning of the umbral phase will be visible in eastern North America; the end will be visible in North America except the extreme northwest. The Moon enters penumbra at 9:05 P.M. EDT (6:05 P.M. PDT); the umbral phase begins at 10:03 P.M. EDT (7:03 P.M. PDT); totality begins at 11:14 P.M. EDT (8:14 P.M. PDT) and ends at 12:06 A.M. EDT (9:06 P.M. PDT); the umbral phase ends at 1:17 A.M. EDT (10:17 P.M.); the Moon leaves penumbra at 2:15 A.M. EDT (11:15 P.M. PDT). 2. Annular eclipse of the Sun, May 30.

    DOA2: Hardcore
Sit down, shut up and play. This is real fighting action - Sexy and edgy. It's Hardcore for sure! Let the fighters of Dead or Alive 2 take you to places you've only dreamed of. But don't get too close to these beauties because they're capable of turning on you in an instant, leaving you battered, bruised and asking for more. GRAPHICS : Beautiful, well lit and very well textured, the game is a shining example of what the PS2 is capable of. The only hit is in the frame rate, which seems to stutter when you bring in your tag partner.
SOUND : There’s great music, solid sound effects, and character voices that aren’t as annoying as some games (SNK vs. Capcom, I’m looking in your direction).
CONTROL : The controls are surprisingly simple, with long combos drawn from repeated button-mashing, but there is some skill involved, and counters are king here.
HOTSCORE : One of the best looking fighters so far for the PS2, it eclipses Street Fighter EX3 and Tekken Tag Tournament for beauty. It’s also a pick-up-and-play fighter, making it one of the most fun as well.
