Across all sites, round trip time (RTT), packet loss, topology, and throughput (user/event driven) are currently measured. Expansion and development of AMP will include a Gig interface for AMP and a packaging of AMP for use by communities not currently targeted and by academic sites wishing to deploy their own AMP mesh further within campus, as well as encouragement of deeper penetration of active measurement within the HPC community.
