Kleine Chronik der Weltbürger und Weltföderalisten in Deutschland Von Richard Beiderbeck, www.koinae.de Am 8. Dezember 1970 wählte die Gemeinschaft zur Förderung des Weltbürgertums e.V. in Hamburg einen Vorstand. Der Verein hatte 10 Mitglieder. Erste Vorsitzende war Kerstin Kadow, Kassenwart war Barthold Olbers, das Protokoll führte Elisabeth Hartmann. Man beschloß, den Namen in "Weltföderalisten Deutschlands e.V. umzuwandeln, verabschiedete eine neuen Satzung und ließ sich am 16. März 1971 als "Weltföderalisten Deutschlands e.V." ins Hamburger Vereinsregister eintragen. Am 21. Sept. 1974 fand in Hamburg, Große Bleiche 23, eine Mitgliederversammlung statt, auf in den Vorstand gewählt wurden: Elisabeth Hartmann, Lehrerin (1. Vorsitzende), Wilhelm Hörnemann (2. Vorsitzender), Barthold Olbers (Kassenwart), Schriftführer (Dr. Lothar Mann). Anwesend waren sechs stimmberechtigte Mitglieder. In den folgenden Jahren traten in den Verein ein: Oscar Jedzini, Frankfurt, und Gerhard Havel, Tutzing am Starnberger See. Gerhard Havel wurde später Generalsekretär und Oskar Jedzini wurde Vorsitzender. Als Oskar Jedzini aus Altersgründen den Vorsitz aufgab, wurde Gerhard Havel sein Nachfolger. Es gab nun bei den Weltföderalisten Deutschlands e.V. zwei Mitgliedergruppen: Eine im Raum Hamburg und eine im Raum München. Havel hatte schon als Generalsekretär die Geschäftsstelle nach Tutzing am Starnberger See verlegt. Als Gerhard Havel in Rente ging, zog er nach Aschau am Chiemsee. Dort war dann die Geschäftsstelle. Die räumliche Trennung, aber auch andere Problem führten dazu, dass sich die Weltföderalisten Deutschlands e.V. in zwei Vereine teilten, von denen aber jeder der Namen Weltföderalisten Deutschlands e.V. trug.

Appointees will serve a 1-year term. Established under the Pork Promotion, Research, and Consumer Information Act of 1985, the Delegate Body and the National Pork Board have implemented a national program designed to improve the pork industry's position in the marketplace. Representation on the Delegate Body is based on annual net assessments collected on sales of domestic hogs within individual states, with a minimum of two producers from each state. States have the option of not submitting nominees. New Jersey and Vermont did not submit nominees this year. Importer representation is based on assessments on imported pork and pork products. Importers appointed to the Delegate Body are: Ole Nielsen, Benjamin S. Warren, James R. Marsh, David E. Biltchik and Soren Svenningsen. Delegates meet annually to recommend the rate of assessment, determine the percentage of assessments that State associations will receive and nominate producers and importers to the 15-member National Pork Board. The program is funded by a mandatory assessment currently set at 0.45 percent of the market value of all hogs sold in the United States.
