Cohn-Stone Studios is the work place of California artists Michael Cohn and Molly Stone. Their studio is one of the nation's foremost producers of designer vases, decorative art pieces and one of a kind sculptural works of art. Since 1972, the works of M. Cohn and M. Stone have been exhibited in the USA, Europe, Scandanavia, Australia, the Soviet Union, Japan, and South America. Their works are included in numerous museum and private collections worldwide.
Michael and Molly met through their common interest and involvement in the glass art. They have maintained commitment to the design as well as the hands-on-production of each individual piece of glass. Every piece that leaves the studio is personally signed and dated by the artist, acknowledging that the work has met their high standards of quality. In addition to standing on their own merit as works of art, many of these pieces are further enhanced by their functionality.

Raised in California, Paul Counts received his BA in Glass in 1983. He went on to reach his MA from Cal State in 1985, all the while working as a production glass blower and studying extensively with such noted art teachers and masters, Dick Marquis and Lino Taliapiatra. Paul went on to instruct and head the glass department at Orange Coast College, California before working as a glass instructor for several seasons, a the noted Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington. Teaching glass continued to increase his knowledge of the glass world and it of him. In 1992, while still teaching glass, drawing and design, Paul set up his own studio to begin his own personal growth and direction as a noteworthy glass artist. He says of his work: "I work at my art for myself and offer the fruits of my endeavors as a token of thanks for the life of an atist. My reward is the process of creation. The finished piece is important, but not as much as creating it is to me. I am not trying to make profound statements ~ only my glass objects. People find their own ways into my work and often show me new roads to tread. This is important to me for I know that my work will offer many roads for the future."
