Important dates General Information MTNS98 is the thirteenth edition of the International Symposium on the Mathematical Theory of Networks and Systems. MTNS is usually organized every second year and traditionally covers areas involving mathematics of systems and networks as well as emerging fields in engineering and mathematics with a potential impact on automatic control systems, and signal processing (see below a list of topics MTNS98 will be held at the School of Engineering , University of Padova, Padova, Italy, from July 6 to 10, 1998. This is the fourth conference on the subject organized by Portuguese and Spanish mathematicians. The others were held in Coimbra, Portugal in 1982 and 1984 and in Vitoria, Spain in 1983.
