For those of you looking for HESSI documentation, go to my HESSI page . This page is just a listing of my HESSI web directory. The item of greatest interest is likely my Overview of the HESSI Command Line Interface If you want to skip the overview, you can go straight to my preprint page and see if there is anything you would like to download. My research interests are quite varied, but all are related to the astrophysics of lower mass stars, including the Sun.
    Young Stars
Much of my current work is devoted to studying T Tauri stars; which are low mass, young stars that have only recently emerged from their natal molecular cloud cores to become optically visible. Many members of this group show a host of unusual features which appear to be related in one way or another to the fact that they are surrounded by active accretion disks. These are the Classical T Tauri stars, and their circumstellar accretion disks are sites where planetary systems are currently forming.

    Chris Hallo rj,

Guitarist Chris Juergensen's Prospects is an all instrumental jazz/fusion CD featuring a dynamic rhythm section and crystalline production. The entire CD was recorded live in two days with no rehearsals before hand. The group of musicians got most of the songs done in two takes with only one punch in during the whole two day session. Prospects has a song for everybody: Bebop, Jazz, Samba, Latin and a few ballads thrown in just in case you're feeling lonely. Juergensen wrote and arranged all the songs on the CD, and delivers his particular brand of fusion with a Metheny-esque tone and an angular soloing style which breathes a fresh new life into the form. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Jazz), total running time, 38:08

: Chris Dercon over Frans Zwartjes

On the web one can find the complete text of his 1959 Scientific American article on the subject. E. C. Zeeman, K.B., F.R.S. delivered lectures on the topic in 1998 at the University of Texas, San Antonio and at Trinity College, Dublin. The 23 transparencies from these lectures are on the web and it's almost like being there (see his paper for more detail). DivingBum Enterprises has a page with a photograph of the curent installation in the National Museum of Archaeology, Athens. Chris Rorres' page Spheres and Planetaria on the Drexel University site has a nice photograph of Price himself. Rob S. Rice of the University of Pennsylvania has posted a very useful paper on the subject, from a 1995 U.S. Naval Academy symposium on Naval History. A lively sketch of De Solla Price's scientific and human personality can be found in the Foreword , by Robert K. Merton and Eugene Garfield, to one of his books.
