Welcome To The
Geography Web Ring What is the Geography Web ring?
The Geography web ring brings together geography orientated sites across the internet and thus provides a central resource for anyone interested in Geography. Each site has links allowing visitors to move from one relevant site to another, without using a search engine. Sites are linked so that they form a virtual ring; if you visit all the sites you'll eventually end up where you started. To find out more about the ring, read the Ring Information page. What type of web sites are in the Geography Web ring?
All sites are related to geography and its associated subjects. If it's a topic studied by geographers, it's eligible to be here. Commercial sites are not excluded, but the ring does not welcome sites which join with the intention of marketing products or gaining free advertising. Commercial sites are judged by the same criteria as others; they must provide a free, useful source of information that is acceptable in content and presentation for use by schools, teachers and students. Sites which do not match these criteria, will not be admitted to the ring. Why do people join ?
