Croatian Sailing club “Mornar”- Split is established in 1948. The year 1998 is very important for us because we celebrate 50 Th anniversary and organize European Optimist championship. In all these years, we have had over 1000 members, from the age of 7 to 77. The existence of club is depending on the sailing school, learning children and young people how to live on the sea, developing sailing as a professional sport. Because of systematic activity through all these years, our sailors have been getting great sports results. Club is proud of lots of national champions in all classes from the smallest optimist, through Olympic classes to keel boats. Our sailors have won many prizes at international races, Europeans and World championships
