Extractions: Just like the thousands of individuals who suffer from a blood-related cancer, who wake up and hope for a cure or remission, I wake up and hope that I can do one more thing to help them. Every mile I run, I run for them. I hope you will come back often and see how I am doing in my training and fundraising. If you have someone special I can run for, please let me know. I will list them on this site with you as their sponsor. I have joined a very special program, TEAM IN TRAINING, along with 26,000 other participants nationwide. We will run or walk a 26.2-mile marathon, cycle in a 100 mile century ride or complete an Olympic length triathlon. As members of TNT, we will train and compete on behalf of patients and we will raise funds to battle leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. The Today, the Society supports the following major programs: research, patient services, public and professional education, advocacy and community services. With headquarters in White Plains, NY, the Society has chapter offices across the United States and is a single corporation doing business under New York State not-for-profit corporate laws. Nearly one million volunteers from all walks of life give generously of their time and talents to implement the Society's programs. They provide professional guidance and help raise vitally needed funds. The Society's activities are directed and supervised by its national and chapter boards of trustees.
