Moran Eye Center University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah 84113 Shprintzen Goldberg Syndrome (velo-cardio-facial syndrome) is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by multiple anomalies including cleft palate, cardiac defects, learning disabilities, and typical facial characteristics. A four-and-one-half-year-old boy has been followed with this diagnosis. A case report will be presented including discussion of previously unreported ocular findings. These include marked abnormalities of horizontal rectus muscles. The clinical significance of these findings in a child with progressive cranio-facial dysostosis will be discussed.
