5-0 out of 5 stars Best of Christian Romance - oh so dreamy
I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful Christian Romance Book Series. Oh, my, they have captured my heart and I could not wait to get my hands on the second book, One More Moment in Time. And thank God she had her third book out, Forever in His Heart. These books must be made into a Halmark movie!!!! I am a fan for life. Bless someone and give them these books. Word of advice - don't plan on cleaning or cooking or working until you have finished these books because once you start reading - you won't stop!

5-0 out of 5 stars Endless Love
Elizabeth Ryan has written such a wonderful book on how determination and prayer can get a person through many struggles in life.
The glamour of football and all that it entails for the players and fans just brings the story so much to life.I have read the first two books in the series and am waiting for the next book in the mail from Elizabeth. This one will be signed.
I hope to see more from her in the future.

2-0 out of 5 stars Sadly predictable
I bought four Christian romance novels by four different authors to add to our collection of favorite reading fare. This one was the weakest. The main character is so unbelievably perfect (good looking, rich, great academically, great footballer, great bike rider, great voice, self-sacrificial personality, etc.) that it was hard to have any sympathy for him. The plot was sadly predictable, and there were too many one-dimensional characters - I eventually struggled to keep track of all the names. I would have loved to see fewer, better developed characters, with both good and bad sides. With few exceptions, the good people were perfect and the bad ones had no redeeming features. I could have handled these problems had it not been for the editing. The author was badly let down by the editors. While any author could write words like warmness, humbleness or insaneness, surely the editors should point out that warmth, humility and insanity are common usage? Or that one should rather not have eight sentences in a row that all start with the word "Mark"? Or that, in the case of adjectives, less is more? Or fix a sentence such as "...[his] ability to bring joy to all those he came in contact." Yes, I will remember this story, but sadly not for its spiritual food as much as for the frustration that such a promising author did not receive better support.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME!!!!!! book
This is the second book of Elizabeth Ryan's and it was AWESOME!!!! I can't wait till the third book comes out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't wait for the third!
Elizabeth Anne Ryan's books are a welcome addition to my collection of books by Christian authors!I am an avid reader of Christian fiction and am always looking for another good read.I thoroughly enjoyed Elizabeth's books and am anxiously awaiting the third in this series.Try it....you will not be disappointed! ... Product Description
Agranulocytosis and aplastic anemia figure prominently among certain serious diseases which can be precipitated by drugs. Several hundred different agents with substantially different chemical and pharmacological properties have been implicated, although the evidence incriminating specific drugs has been largely anecdotal. This book describes the findings of a rigorous and comprehensive epidemiological investigation designed to provide reliable quantitative data on the drug etiology of agranulocytosis and aplastic anemia. This investigation was a large-scale, population based , case-control study. Its objectives were to identify those drugs associated with agranulocytosis and aplastic anemia, and to estimate incidence rates attributable to specific drugs. In both conceptual and practical terms, this study has broken new ground, by providing the most extensive documentation to date concerning the drug etiology and incidence of the two dyscrasias. ... Product Description
This book takes account of the most recent findings in laboratory research and clinical trials to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date reference on the pathophysiology, epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of acquired and inherited aplastic anemia. As well as providing a detailed overview of the pathophysiology of the disease, the international team of authors covers all aspects of management, including the established approaches of bone marrow transplantation and immunosuppressive treatment, new approaches such as the use of hematopoietic growth factors and escalated immunosuppression, and controversial issues such as stem cell transplantation. Also included is an important international consensus document on treatment, and a final section concentrates on the inherited syndrome Fanconi's anemia. Detailed treatment guidelines are given, making this the definitive resource for hematologists and other clinicians involved in the management and supportive care of patients with aplastic anemia. Scientists interested in bone marrow failure will also find this an invaluable reference. ... Read more

Excerpt: Sickle-cell disease (SCD), or sickle-cell anaemia (or anemia; SCA) or drepanocytosis, is an autosomal recessive genetic blood disorder characterized by red blood cells that assume an abnormal, rigid, sickle shape. Sickling decreases the cells' flexibility and results in a risk of various complications. The sickling occurs because of a mutation in the Hemoglobin gene. Life expectancy is shortened, with studies reporting an average life expectancy of 42 in males and 48 in females. Sickle-cell disease, usually presenting in childhood, occurs more commonly in people (or their descendants) from parts of tropical and sub-tropical regions where malaria is or was common. One-third of all indigenous inhabitants of Sub-Saharan Africa carry the gene, because in areas where malaria is common, there is a survival value in carrying only a single sickle-cell gene (sickle cell trait). Those with only one of the two alleles of the sickle-cell disease are more resistant to malaria, since the infestation of the malaria plasmodium is halted by the sickling of the cells which it infests. The prevalence of the disease in the United States is approximately 1 in 5,000, mostly affecting Americans of Sub-Saharan African descent, according to the National Institutes of Health. In the United States, about 1 in 500 black births have sickle-cell anaemia. Sickle-cell anaemia is the name of a...http://booksllc.net/?id=21010263 ... Read more
