5-0 out of 5 stars Putrid Pooch
Hally is a dog with bad breath. It is extremely bad breath. So bad the family feels they need to get rid of him. However, when his horrific breath saves the family from danger, the dog gets to stay and is a hero.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but I think Dogzilla and Kat Kong are more bang for your buck
This is a cute story, and the play on words with Hally Tosis is funny. My son likes this story, but it doesn't engage him in the way that some of the other Dav Pilkey books do.The writing just isn't as funny as it is in Dogzilla and Kat Kong. However, the illustrations are very funny, and we like to talk about all of the different reactions to Hally's doggy breath. In fact, the illustrations entertain my son more than the story.

5-0 out of 5 stars In a world of kid's books littered with freakin' butterflies and rainbows
We finally get something that kids can REALLY appreciate- a cute, lovable dog with horrid breath. The story is hysterical, the artwork sheer perfection. My three and five year-olds both love this one.I have to confess I do, too.Yeah, there's a message in here, too... but who cares.Books like this will make young kids love books.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good laugh for everyone
This is a nice easy read for the kids, and the reader can enjoy the adventure right along with the kids.

5-0 out of 5 stars Princess Bubble thought this was a breath of fresh air!
I thought this book was so cute!!!! The humor is wonderful and so smart. I am publishing a children's book and hope it is as wonderful as Dog Breath!

5-0 out of 5 stars My Dentist Gave Me This Book
I went to my dentist with a problem of bad breath. He talked to me and handed me this book. he said it was the best book on the problem and for me to read. He said it was a little technical (meant for doctors) but that it would help me. I read it and it had a lot of good ideas for treating bad breath. I think it has really helped me.

I totally loved this book, but I can't believe someone would put that as their favorite part. Everyone knows that the best past was when Grimmy ate the food and then had bad breath.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truth masquerading as fiction
Is it fiction?
Is it a thinly-disguised autobiography?

I used to share a flat with the author some years ago, and still I have not fully recovered.

Mr Thomson seems to have realised that events in his own life had more power to horrify his readers than anything his fevered imagination could summon.I don't think the murder actually happened, but the epiodes about fouling his underwear on the dance floor and going into the office with menstrual blood on his face are treasured memories for Guy.These passages are often read out at sophisticated European dinner parties with memorable results.

And he had to use a nom de plume because he was worried about his Mum reading it.

Do buy this book, and help keep it out of the hands of his mum! ... Read more
